If you want to backup your legit eshop VC games that is used with Haxchi, so that you can install it again sometime if you are banned from connecting to eshop, you can do it in 2 ways.

For this tutorial, I will be using Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! USA version

Prerequisites :

1. Python 2.7
2. FW.img file
3. Some Wii U homebrew apps : Homebrew Launcher, CFW Booter + FW.img, ftpiiu_anywhere, Wup Installer Y Mod

I am making this guide due to the fact that it took me a few hours of googling to figure out how to make a custom Haxchi tga file work and haven't seen or found a guide.

DISCLAIMER:
IF STEPS AREN'T FOLLOWED, YOUR HAXCHI WILL APPEAR AS A BOX WITH "???" AND SAY THE FILE IS CORRUPT.
THIS CAN BE EASILY FIXED BY EITHER: REPLACING THE ORIGINAL TGA FILE OR CORRECTLY EDITING THE TGA FILE.

I hate the fact that there's no RetroArch guide for Wii U around here. Questions are hidden in endless thread pages and especially when it comes to Arcade Machine roms it took me while to figure out how to use them nicely.

I may edit this post to add a step by step guide for everything at a later point but for now I'm just going to explain how to get a clean games collection and try to handle a few often asked questions in a FAQ.
I'm not mister universe so please correct me where I'm wrong...

Hi there. This tutorial will allow you to use custom SSL certs in the Wii U's browser. This will not need signature patches to run, but it does require them to make the modification.

This has been tested with a 5.5.1U system with Haxchi enabled.

  1. Activate CFW or signature patches using Mocha, Haxchi, or CHBC.
  2. Go into FTPii Everywhere.
  3. On an FTP client, navigate to /storage_mlc/sys/title/00050030/10012x0a/content/browser...

It's confirmed. It works!

This guide uses the FREE DLC "Language pack" to do the trick. You need download it on eshop.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to play Zelda BOTW with all DLCs unlocked without start a CFW or something for this. It should work with others games with multiple DLC like MK8, Wii Sports Club, Super Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors and others. Of course you need a legit DLC from game you want to play....
